Start the Week – 18 July

More online reputation this week, courtesy of a slightly scary article from Good Magazine. Startup Social Intelligence uses “deep search tools that make Google look like AltaVista” to find your social media footprint, and provide it to your future employer.

Feel like publishing your own super slick, perfect bound, magazine? Now you can with HP’s MagCloud. Citizen journalism need no longer be an online only activity, (shame about the postage costs to Australia though!).

Visualize.me looks interesting, and very pretty. Basically it’s a visualisation of your resume. Perfect for all the right brain types out there. It’s still being developed at time of writing, but you can sign up to receive access once it launches.

Lastly, TED Curator, Chris Anderson, has decided he doesn’t like what has happened to email. To fix the problem he has proposed an Email Charter. It’s a simple 10 point list of things that you can consider adopting when you send your emails… and there are some some related tips over at Harvard Business Review.
